Too far?
I have a friend ( to use the term loosely ). You know the type, the one who no matter how hard he tries to be like you, never quite pulls it off. He is that guy who thinks he is teh 1337!!11!~ but in reality couldn't set up a smoothie(Smooth Wall) without accidentally formating all the machines drives first. You know, the guy who defines the term n00b. Yes, I am ashamed to say, I have such a friend.
I have always tolerated his whining and semi stalking and have in fact seen it as a form of flattery. He likes bragging to other people I know what good mates we are, something I've been ok with given his case of mild dementia.
The other day, through some or other means, he discovered my blog and has now set up an exact replica of course with far less superior content. This irked me, he took my superior design choices and tried to pass them off as his own. Now you might argue that this simpleton really does not have the creativity to set up an awesome blog of his own (obvious from the site content), but still, does this give him the right to blatantly rip off my far superior site. I think not.
Now in my experience it always best to approach such cases calmly and not rush in demanding retribution left right and center, especially when the subject isn't the quickest car on the track, if you now what I mean. So I guess I'll give it some time and see what becomes of his lame attempt at a blog, I'll be sure to report back soon.
